favorite product ideas for your school photo digital images

As a Huntsville AL school photographer, I love offering my families the option of purchasing the digital images of their child’s gallery.

It’s a great way for parents to have lots and lots of options for sharing and printing those adorable images!

If you order prints through me, you will be getting professional quality prints from a pro lab.

But if you choose to print on your own, you can still get great quality prints and products!

Today I want to share with you some of my favorite products that you can create with your digital files!

WHERE TO PRINT THOSE DIGITAL IMAGES

I always recommend that families use mpix.com when printing independently. In my opinion, they are the highest quality consumer photo lab!

So….I’m going to share with you a few products that mpix offers that I think are great options for these school portraits with big personality!

  1. Accordian minis

Ok, how CUTE are these! It’s going a little old school because they are basically a “brag book” that fits in a purse! Sure, you can show your friend your images on your phone, but how retro and cool is it to have a way to show them in print? And at 2.5”x3.5”, they pack a big punch in an adorable little package!

2.Metal prints

I mean, paper prints are awesome, but metal prints are another level! You can choose a glossy or matte finish (I personally love the matte finish for these images with a black background, but you really can’t go wrong either way!) You can also choose to have an easel backing for display on a desk or shelf, or a float mount for easy wall hanging. Love these for a contemporary take on photo prints!

3.Acrylic blocks

I think these acrylic blocks make a great gift! They come in 3 sizes up to a 5x7 and are a great alternative to a basic framed print for a desk or shelf!

4.Collagewall

I’m a HUGE fan of grouping wall art, but it can be intimidating to figure out your image sizes, layout, and then of course the getting it all on the wall can all just feel like too much! The Collagewall feature of mpix is SO helpful for this! You can browse through their many different arrangements, upload your photos, and the BEST part? It comes with everything you need to hang it all easily with their peg system! Seriously easy and fantastic!

I especially love this one because I always aim to give multiple expressions in a child’s gallery, and this option lets you print and enjoy as many as you’d like!

Ok, so those are some of my favorite products for you to use your digital images on through mpix.com!

Just remember that whatever you choose, get those photos printed! :)
