DHCA Senior Photo Prep Guide
Hi There!
Congratulations on your senior year of high school! Now let’s take some great photos!
what do i need to wear?
Ladies:
The drape gives a formal, off the shoulder dress appearance. Please wear a strapless bra with a spaghetti strap tank top that the straps can easily be moved off the shoulders for the portrait session.
Makeup should be natural or only SLIGHTLY heavier than normal. Mascara should be clean and not contains clumps. Do not use thick false eyelashes as these can obscure the eyes in photos.
A matte finish on your skin is best. Shiny skin can create hotspots in photos.
Don’t worry about skin imperfections—retouching is provided!
Avoid changing your hairstyle right before your session. Bring any products or tools you’ll want, but please complete touchups prior to your appointment time so you’re ready to go at your appointment time.
NO glitter on hair or skin!
Simple jewelry is best. Large or bold jewelry may be distracting.
Guys:
Please wear a plain white t-shirt to be worn under your tuxedo shirt. (Tux is provided)
Make sure you’re clean shaven.
Retouching is provided so don’t worry about any skin imperfections.
Be careful of hair changes close to your appointment. Bleached hair does not look as good in photographed—natural is best.
ARE THERE RETAKES PROVIDED?
There are no retakes scheduled for these photos, so please try to make one of the appointment times. These photos will go in the yearbook.
