Hi There!
I’m looking forward to returning to photograph the students at Decatur Heritage!
Here’s some info you might want to know to get ready for Picture Day!
when is my picture day?
We will be taking portraits on 3 mornings using the following schedule:
Wednesday, Sept 9: 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th grades
Thursday, Sept 10: 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th grades
Friday, Sept 11: K4, K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd grades
what should i wear?
These portraits will be shot on a solid gray background.
Almost all colors look great with this backdrop! Please avoid tops that have large graphics, logos, or print. Avoid hoodies and neon colors.
For girls, small bows, headbands or barretts at the side of the head photograph better than large bows on top of the head.
Small details at the sleeves, neck, and collar photograph well for these sessions. You can also think about a top that makes your child's eye color pop! Consider allowing your child to select a favorite outfit within these parameters to capture even more of their personality!
can you text me when my photos are ready?
YES! Please sign up for text alerts so you know when your photos are ready to be viewed and ordered! You can do that here:
You’ll need your Access Code, which was already emailed to you, so be sure you have that ready!
HOW DOES ORDERING WORK?
Your proofing gallery will come to your email address (or via text if you opt in to those in advance). You will not receive paper proofs—all viewing and ordering is done conveniently online!
If you have more than one student in the school, you will be able to link to all their galleries from the same page. You can add digitals or prints of all your children into the same cart and just check out once. There are discounts on sibling galleries, so remember to use the provided discount codes to get the best deals!
To order 2 digital galleries, use code SIBS2 to receive $20 off.
To order 3 digital galleries, use code SIBS3 to receive $50 off.
To order 4 digital galleries, use code SIBS4 to receive $100 off.
Prints are sent for free to your school in bulk shipment, or you can choose to ship them directly to your home for a shipping fee. Digital images are immediately sent to your email inbox via download link, and can be shared online, sent to family members, or printed as much as you’d like.
After you receive your online gallery, you will have 7 days to place your order if you’d like to receive the lowest pricing as well as free shipping.
Grandparents and other relatives may also place orders through the digital gallery!

I occasionally like to post a sneak peek on social media from my photo day at a particular school or add new kids' photos to my website and marketing materials.
